The Danceroom has been in business since 2004. Starting out as a small business with only a few students, we have watched our population explode each year as we continue growing into a busy studio. The reason for this growth is our philosophy of creating an enjoyable atmosphere for each and every dancer.

Our dance season runs from fall to spring, just in time for our yearly recital which is always filled with a variety of fantastic performances, interesting costumes, and an array of excited, talented dancers and guest artists. All dancers who enroll for seasonal dance classes are invited to participate in our spring recital that consists of dances practiced in class throughout the dance season. We have performed at community centers, yearly fundraisers, and theatre venues and are planning on entering into the competitive scene in the near future.

As an experienced dancer myself, I am fully aware of the costs that are associated with this form of art and movement. The Danceroom, therefore, strives to be an extremely economically-efficient studio. We ensure low monthly rates, inexpensive dance attire requirements, and reasonably priced, yet effective recital costumes.

The Danceroom believes in giving back to the community and has supported numerous organizations including; Centennial United Church in Stayner, Clearview Community Theatre, Girlfriends Program, Big Sisters, Collingwood, Meaford Hall & Cultural Centre, Stayner Nursing Home, Sunset Manor, Collingwood.
