Our exciting range of dance styles include:

Acrobatics - a style of dance of that incorporates gymnastics tricks and dance movements, enhances the flexibility of students, challenges already flexible dancers and allows students to learn how to safely spot for tricks of other acro dancers.

Ballet - both graceful and technical, ballet is a traditional style of dance that is highly recommended for both beginner and advanced dancers. It consists of many fundamental dance concepts and is considered the foundation for all other European and Western forms of dance.

Baton - Baton twirling offers a combination of dance and baton twirling, with some gymnastics at the competitive level. The sport of Baton Twirling focuses on Baton handling skills combined with dance and/or gymnastics moves, at both the recreational and competitive levels. Musicality is developed through the blending of body and baton moves. Baton can promote/improve self-esteem, self-discipline, build character and form a healthy foundation for an active lifestyle. It will also foster mental discipline and social relations. Baton teaches teamwork, discipline, commitment, hand-eye coordination and sportsmanship through group participation.

Highland Dance - a traditional Scottish style of dancing, usually associated musically with bagpipes. Dancers learn to dance primarily on the balls of their feet and will gradually identify and perform numerous types of Highland Dances. Dancers will see improvements in endurance and leg strength. There may be opportunities to dance with traditional Highland props such as blunt-edged swords, kilts and bagpipes.

Hip Hop - structured for older students, dancers will learn techniques that have been influenced by fast, isolated elements of jazz and breakdancing. Hip Hop is most often practiced and performed to urban music.

Jazz - originating from both African and Broadway dance styles, jazz is a smooth yet upbeat and energetic style of dance. Jazz dancing often consists of big jumps, turns and much of it's technique is borrowed and adapted from ballet.

Kinder Hip Hop - based off of general hip hop dancing, kinder hip hop targets preschool ages. Young dancers will learn about musicality and movement in a fun and modern curriculum.

Modern - historically instigated by a rebellion against ballet, modern dance is based on self-expression as opposed to rigid technique. This class promotes creativity and emotional-expression. Students will learn about gravitational influence, anatomical shape and both positive and negative special concepts.

Musical Theatre  - a type of dramatic theatrical art that combines singing, acting and dancing as seen in Broadways. Students will find themselves learning through role-play, games, script analysis, vocal projection and basic dance training.

Preschool - provides young (ages 3,-4), beginner dancers with the fundamental positions and movements for basic dancing, based on ballet. Young students will begin to learn about all basic elements of dance, including warming up, stretching, practicing and performing. Games are often used by teachers to encourage an interest for dance, keep the attention of young dancers, educating blossoming students and, of course, to promote a fun atmosphere.

Tap - students focus on the musicality and rhythm of their foot movements. Tap shoes, consisting of metal taps screwed on to the ball and heel of each shoe, give dancers an instrument they are able to wear on their feet. Dancers will find improvements in their  co-ordination, musicality and range of motion in the feet.

Adult classes have been structured to give participants a fun experience involving physical activity, stretching, and discovering or enhancing different elements of dance. Participants of Ballroom and Belly Dancing will have the opportunity to practice and perform a recital dance (if preferred). These classes are recommended for adults who have a  passion for dance, are looking for a way to become active, wish to  improve their dance-ability or are in need of an excuse to get out of the house.

Adult classes include:


Ballroom Dancing - a social dance style, often done with a partner (however, partners are not required) focusing on Latin and Standard dance styles including Rumba, Cha-Cha, Jive, Samba, Salsa, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep and Viennese Waltz.

Belly Dancing
- an Arabic or Middle Eastern form of dancing involving circular actions, usually isolated at one part of the body. Most often, these actions are executed at the midsection. Belly Dancing acts as a wonderful cardio-vascular and core strength workout. Props, such as veils and hip scarves are occasionally used. 

Cardio Hip-Hop - Work on hip-hop routines as a vigorous exercise regime. Movements are often low to the ground, consist of small jumps, and build endurance and core strength.

Yoga- 
focuses on the union of the body, mind and spirit. It utilizes positions, stillness and movement to strengthen and rejuvenate the self as a whole.’s plentiful benefits include enhanced flexibility, definition and toning of muscles, mental harmony, decrease in blood pressure, weight management and more.

Zumba - a wonderful, steady workout structured as a Latin dance party. Allows you to work out while having fun. Zumba students will exercise using forms of dance such as the Salsa, the Merengue, and the Cha Cha.
